The Temple of Venus, or circular temple in the village of Ba albek, not far from the south-east corner of the Acropolis. It is now converted into a Muslim shrine, and dedicated to El Barbara.

Part of the colonnade which once encircled Samaria. On the south side, near to the west end, a great number of columns are still standing

The fallen column, Ba'albek. In the peristyle on the south side of the Temple of the Sun, where only four connected columns remain in situ. Several shafts have fallen from the temple platform into the little orchard below.
